Emily Okunami
Another checkride success to celebrate! Grant recipient Emily Okunami officially joined the ranks of flight instructors after passing her CFI checkride this past Friday.
Katie Mitchell (A&P)
Katie Mitchell one of our grant recipients officially earned her Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate this week after passing her practical exam. With her license in hand, she is cleared for takeoff into a high-demand career in aviation maintenance. Way to go Katie!
Owen White (PPL)
Last one to land for the year—and he nailed it! Owen White, our final scholarship recipient to complete his rating this year, passed his Private Pilot checkride this past weekend. Congrats, Owen!
Andrew Van Wagner (IFR)
Andrew Van Wagner passed his IFR Rating this past weekend. This means all five of our 2025 EHGF scholarship recipients have achieved their ratings in 2025!
Kellen Bodine (CFI)
Grant recipient Kellen Bodine passed his CFI checkride in a J-3 Cub. Way to go Kellen!
